Polypedatus maculatus, also called as the Common tree forg is widespread in India belongs to family Rhacophoridae. Its pale colouration at rest gives it the common indian name the 'Chunam" literally meaning Lime ( white washed frog). The body bears series of black spots , the legs are cross-barred. The common tree frog enjoys living within human residences more than any other frog.
