[edit] Comments from the cast
Max Perman writes,
'It all started a very long time ago with a very different cast as I remember. It was the year of 2004, sometime round Open Day, when I first met the people I would be acting with today on stage. Peter Stanley, Tom Morgan, Joshua Harris, and Alex Butler to be precise. The next big thing happened last year in Autumn Term. It turns out that Peter and Tom had been writing a sequel for Macbeth over some period. A sequel to Macbeth I hear you cry, well yes, a sequel, Involving yet more crazy occurrences than before. Because the play of Macbeth leaves on the climax of Macbeth’s death, you never really found out what happened next, so that’s what we did.'
Josh Harris explains that this is where the idea of 'Macbeth - The Director's Cut' developed from.
Tom Morgan describes the Footlights as, 'A plethora of imagination running wild like a cheetah in the desert.'
Peter Stanley adds that 'Project Fringe 2008 is the Holy Grail of everything we are trying to achieve.'.
