Church of St. Andrew, Mells

St Andrew's Church, Mells, is a notable parish church located in the village of Mells, Somerset, England.

The church has close connections with the Asquith and Horner families who lived in the district. The building has several important decorative features, including a stained-glass window by William Nicholson. The poet Siegfried Sassoon and the writer Ronald Knox are both buried in the churchyard.

The church predominantly dates from the late 15th century with mid 19th century restoration. The tower is from the mid 16th century and has clock from the 17th century and a peal of 8 bells, the earliest of which dates from 1717. It is a grade I listed building.[1]
