Chungtia

One of the most powerful Ao villages in the days of the yore, Chungtia is 11 km north-west of Mokokchung. The Mokokchung-Mariani Highway passes through its eastern corner. It is at an altitude of 1,335 ft above sea level. The suburb of Sabangya and the village of Aliba form a continuous settlement area along with Chungtia.
