Chungar

Chungar may refer to the following:
- Chungar (11° 7' S, 76° 32' W), the camp of a mining company in Peru which was destroyed by a landslide into Lake Yanahuni on March 18, 1971, killing an estimated 200-600 people.
- Chungar, a caste of aboriginal people long considered pariahs, living in the Lahore region in Pakistan.
- Chungar, the name of a village 10 km southeast of Herat, Afghanistan.
- Lake Chungar or "Lake Chungará" in the Lauca National Park, Northern Chile, on the border to Perú and Bolivia.
- Chungar (el. 4482 m), a trekking camp in the Himalaya state of Himachal Pradesh, India between Zaur Dung and Takling Maidan on the left bank of the Takling nala River.
- Eslam Chungar (37,3° N, 66,46° E), the name of a village in the province of Jowzjan in Northern Afghanistan.
- Chungar Chal, a hydroelectric project under construction (capacitiy 240 MW) in the state of Uttranchal in Northern India.
- Koh-i-chungar, part of the Tashkurghan River in the province of Badakshan in North-East Afghanistan.
