Chucking (basketball)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chucking, in the game of basketball, is the act of attempting an inaccurate, ill-advised or poorly-timed shot at the basket. More often than not it is characterised by an unorthodox method of throwing the ball. Chucking is generally not considered to be in the flow of the game. This tactic usually comes from the less athletic, less coordinated people. Also, this shot can be seen often during streetball games when a player is outmatched.
