Chuck W. Morse

Chuck Morse (born 1969) is an American anarchist, anarchist academic, translator, and writer. He founded the Institute for Anarchist Studies and The New Formulation, an anti-authoritarian review of books. Morse was the editor of Perspectives on Anarchist Theory. He taught at the Institute for Social Ecology.
Morse recently completed a translation of the classic biography of the revolutionary Buenaventura Durruti by Abel Paz, titled "Durruti in the Spanish Revolution", published by AK Press. The publisher's description: AK Press has commissioned an elegant, new and unabridged translation of the definitive biography of Spanish revolutionary and military strategist, Buenaventura Durruti. Includes Jose Luis Gutierres Molina's introduction about Abel Paz's life and the historiography of the Spanish Civil War.
Morse lives in Sunnyside Gardens, New York. He maintains a blog, Negations.
