Chuck Machemehl

Chuck Machemehl (born 1947), a notable German Texan, is a rancher, businessman and civic leader in Washington County, Texas [1].

Mr. Machemehl is the son of Charles W. Machemehl and the grandson of Louis A. Machemehl (builder of the Machemehl Family House). Both men were prominent leaders from the German Texan community of Bellville, Texas. [2] [3]

In 1967, Mr. Machemehl was drafted by the Cleveland Indians and played in both the minor and major leagues. [4] In 1971, Mr. Machemehl was a Cleveland Indians pitcher [5].
