Charles W. 'Chuck' Larson, Jr. is the Iowa State Senator from the 18th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2002. He will be succeeded in the Iowa Senate by Democrat Robert M. Hogg.

Larson currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Commerce committee; the Education committee; the Judiciary committee; and the Ways and Means committee; and the Ethics committee, where he is co-chair.
