Chuck Kaiton

Charles "Chuck" Kaiton has been the radio play-by-play announcer for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League since the organization joined the NHL as the Hartford Whalers for the 1979-80 season.

In addition to his work with the team, he has also served as the President of the NHL Broadcasters Association for the past 19 seasons (1986-present), and was the 2004 winner of the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award, given annually to National Hockey League broadcasters who make outstanding contributions to their profession during their careers.

Kaiton lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Mary, and has three sons, Nelson, Chuck and Russell.
