- I was born in 1979 in Houston, Texas.

- I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin in 2002.

- I received my Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2005.

- In 2005, I worked for the Texas Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit, writing and editing Judicial Memorandum. Also that year, I wrote a legal article for the Houston Lawyer on DWIs.

- I currently work at an energy company in Houston, Texas.
