"Antique"? Since when is a '58 Fury an antique? And "evil car, N possessed"? Huh? I wasn't aware inanimate objects were evil (no matter what Greenpeace says). "Evil", N "haunted", I'd agree. My recollection of the novel was, LeBay & Christine formed a partnership... The movie left open the possibility of a sequel; I'd guess it didn't do well enough. (For trivia nuts: Earle Hagen's "Harlem Nocturne", better known as the theme to "Mike Hammer", was the song played when Christine repaired herself.)
Also, Strommen's Fury was a 'glass bodied '57; while I see the inspiration, the connection to the rest of the article seems a bit tenuous to me, as if it was stuck on as an afterthought. And can somebody who knows more about IHRA ProMod than me include what engine spec she ran under? I'm thinking 707ci on nitrous, but... Trekphiler 09:42, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
