A good additional reference source for Chris McGregor is Jazz: The Essential Companion (Ian Carr, Digby Fairweather, Brian Priestley, 1988) which contains a photograph of Chris McGregor and discography.
Other links for Chris McGregor should include Abdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand), who preceeded the Blue Notes' move to Europe and helped them when they arrived. Another good link is Tunji Oyelana, a Nigerian composer/musician/bandleader. The Brotherhood of Breath recorded his composition, "Tungi's Song". (There is no Wikipedia page for Tunji Oyelana. He is from Ibadan, Nigeria, is a widely influential musician, and has composed and performed for theatre, working with notable playwrights including Wole Soyinka. I don't know enough about him to write an article, but someone out there must!)
