Chronos Technology Limited is a business-to-business ISO-9000 specialist provider and system integrator of technical solutions for synchronisation, time of day and remote monitoring applications in wireline and wireless telecommunication networks. It is based in Lydbrook, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, and was founded by Charles Curry in 1986. A leader in the field of time and frequency, Chronos is renowned as one of the most important players in the area of synchronisation for telecom networks. Chronos also supplies RF (radio frequency) and GPS components for equipment designers whose products are frequently used in communications and military applications.

  • Chronos, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the University of Bath form the Saturn Consortium to better understand the local availability and integrity of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) transmissions and the susceptibility or immunity of GNSS applications to external interference.
