Christy Harvey

Christy Harvey is the Director of Strategic Communications at the Center for American Progress. She is a regular guest on The Al Franken Show. She also edits a free news website for the Center called Mic Check. (www.miccheckradio.org)
She is a former research director at The Wall Street Journal.
Growing up in Dover, DE, Harvey attended Caesar Rodney High School then Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA.
Her father, Jim Harvey, was the Athletic Director at her alma mater, Caesar Rodney High School. (He recently retired.)
