Christopher Street Connection
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Christopher Street Connection (often abbreviated as CSC) were a professional wrestling tag team in Ring of Honor, consisting of Buff E. and Mace, and managed by Allison Danger. The team's gimmick was that of two openly homosexual men, who would often kiss in front of the fans. Allison Danger, within kayfabe, was also a lesbian, often coming on to other female ROH performers such as Simply Luscious and Alexis Laree. The team was named after Christopher Street in Manhattan, where the 1969 Stonewall riots took place. The Christopher Street Connection were primarily used as personifications of World Wrestling Entertainment's style of "sports entertainment," and so were usually squashed by more wrestling-oriented teams such as Da Hit Squad.
