Christopher Simmons

Christopher Simmons (b. April 10, 1973) is a San Francisco-based graphic designer. He is the current president of the San Francisco chapter of the AIGA and served on its board in previous terms. In 2004 he left Alterpop to form the studio, MINEā„¢.

Christopher is the author of three books on graphic design, including Logo Lab (ISBN 1-58180-549-7), "Letterhead & Logo Design 9" and "Color Harmony: Logos." He developed and teaches a course entitled Identity Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he also serves on the Advisory Board of the School of Graphic Design. He has been an instructor of design at the California College of The Arts (CCA), also in San Francisco.

He has contributed to works in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Smithonian Institution.
