Christopher Mitchell (1947 - 2001) was a British actor most notable for his role in the BBC sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum as Gunner Nigel 'Parky' Parkins.He died from cancer of the liver and other alcohol related complications(where did you find this out?) a month before his father,actor Norman Mitchell, and in the same year as his fellow gunner Kenneth MacDonald (who died of a heart attack aged 50).
