Christopher M. Fairman

Christopher M. Fairman is a law professor at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

He was awarded the "Outstanding Professor Award 2003", as voted by the Graduating Class of 2003. Fairman is well known among his students for his unusual approach to teaching the law. Fairman teaches using Power Point presentations, which often contain childish illustrations, obnoxious sound effects, and references to pop culture.

Fairman's most recent article, "Fuck", examines legal implications of the use of the word "fuck". His primary focus is on civil procedure and pleading.
