Christopher Lutz

Christopher Lutz (born 1971), is a German chess grandmaster and the German chess champion in 1995 and 2001. As of early 2006, Lutz was working as a consultant for the Hydra chess project, which has developed possibly the strongest chess computer in the world. He concentrates on developing the opening book for Hydra, as well as creating test positions. On the October 2006 FIDE rating list, Lutz was the number ten player in Germany, with a rating of 2580.
