Christopher Joseph "Gus" Loria (b. July 9, 1960 in Newton, Massachusetts) is an American astronaut who resigned from his shuttle mission due to injury and never flew before retiring from the NASA Astronaut Corps. Was originally scheduled to fly on STS-113 as pilot. Replaced by Paul Lockhart.
