Christopher George Kennedy

Christopher George Kennedy was born July 4, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the 8th child of Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy. He married Sheila Sinclair Berner August 15, 1987 in Winnetka, Illinois.
They have four children: Katherine Berner Kennedy, born November 4, 1990, Christopher George Kennedy, Jr., born June 15, 1992, Sarah Louise Kennedy, born September 26, 1994 and Clare Rose Kennedy, born November 3, 1998.
He is President of Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest commercial property realtors in the US, named for the Merchandise Mart, a design and wholesale trade center in Chicago, Illinois. It was owned by the Kennedy family from 1945 until 1998. He also works with the Chicago Food Depository and handles other real estate properties in Chicago for the family.
Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College in 1986 and an MBA from Northwestern University in 1994.
