Christopher Beeny

Christopher Beeny (born July 7, 1941) is an English actor.
Born in Bristol, Beeny started acting as a child, his first screen role was in the 1952 film The Long Memory. It starred John Mills and featured Beeny's future co-star Thora Hird. He is probably best known for his roles in Upstairs, Downstairs and In Loving Memory, the latter with Thora Hird.
Beeny was also a regular on the UK's first TV soap opera, The Grove Family. In more recent years he has made several appearances in Last of the Summer Wine and in 2006 appeared briefly in Emmerdale.
