The Very Reverend Christopher Andrew Lewis was appointed Dean of Christ Church, Oxford in 2003 – a post which gives him authority over both the College and the Cathedral. He had previously served as Dean of St Albans and Chairman of the Association of English Cathedrals. He is known for the twinkle in his eye, his marzipan-prosthetic ear and his inability to string together a sentence. He is also remarkably dashing.
