Christina Ramos-Bickford is a contemporary visual artist who created and produces a cable news program called Deaf Cultural Awareness.

She manifests cultural mediation by bridging the deaf and hearing worlds in her art and television program. Her works highlight parenting techniques of deaf children of deaf adults vs. deaf children of hearing adults. It is a comparative study of the different social linguistic periods in deaf history.
