Christina Brehmer (born February 28, 1958 in Altdöbern) is is a former athlete from East Germany, who later was known as Christina Lathan. She competed mainly in the 400 metres.
She competed for East Germany in the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada in the 400m where she finished second behind Poland’s Irena Szewinska. She then ran in the 4 x 400 metres with bronze medalist Ellen Streidt and fellow country women Doris Maletzki and Brigitte Rohde who combined to win the Gold medal. Earlier in the year, she had set a world record of 49.75 for the 400 metres which was broken by Irena Szewińska a month later.
She returned to the 1980 Games in the 4 x 400 metres where she was the sole survivor of the 1976 winning team and could only win the Silver medal with her team mates Gabriel Lowe, Barbara Krug and Marita Koch.
