Christie is also the name of a Census Designated Place in Oklahoma.

Christie is a small rural community located in Adair County, Oklahoma, on US Highway 62. The Christie Post Office existed from February 28, 1903, until January 31, 1944. Cleora was established along the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway in District 6 of the old Indian Territory. It was named by the townsite owner, John Christie.
