Christianity Explored

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Christianity Explored (CE) is a course in the basics of Christianity.

A Christianity Explored course typically runs for 10 weeks, in addition to a weekend or day away. The course is based on the Gospel of Mark. The course, written by Rico Tice and Barry Cooper, was launched on 24 May 2001 at All Souls Church, Langham Place, London. It is published in the UK by The Good Book Company.

Christianity Explored offers an opportunity to explore God's grace in the context of human sin and God's wrath. As the course allows people to explore Mark's Gospel for themselves, the motto of the course is: "Let The Gospel Tell The Gospel" and now comes with an accompanying DVD featuring Rico Tice to assist groups through the course. The DVD is often shot in a location loosely linked with the subject of the scene.

The format of the course is designed to allow plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to discuss the issues raised.
