Christian Taylor (screenwriter)

Christian Taylor is an award winning screenwriter known for his work on the American television drama Six Feet Under. He also wrote, directed and starred in the film Showboy which won Best Directorial Debut at the "British Independent Film Awards" and "Best Picture at the Milan International Film Festival".
His other credits include the Television dramas Miracles and Lost. He won a Writers Guild Award for Oustanding Drama Series on Lost. His script on the second season of Six Feet Under was nominated for Best Drama by the Writers Guild and his work as a producer was recognized with a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination.
The short film "The Lady In Waiting" that he wrote and directed as his thesis film from New York University won the Gold Medal at the Student Academy Awards and then went on to be nominated for the Best Live Action Short Oscar.
It was recently announced that the pilot he created and wrote for the Fox Drama pilot New Amsterdam will be directed by Lasse Hallström.
