Christian Ruud

Christian Ruud (b. August 24, 1972, Oslo, Norway) is a former tennis player who turned professional in 1991.
The righthander represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was defeated in the third round by Russia's Andrei Olhovskiy.
Four years earlier, when Barcelona hosted the Summer Olympics, he lost in the first round to Germany's Boris Becker. Ruud reached his highest singles ATP-ranking on October 9, 1995, when he became the number 39 of the world.
