Christian Feest

Christian Feest (* 19. Juli 1945 in Braunau, today Broumov, Czech Republic) is one of the formost European experts on North American Indians and editor of the Review of Native American Studies (since 1987). He was professor of ethnology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and is now (since 2004) director of the Museum für Völkerkunde (Museum of Ethnology) in Vienna. He is the brother of Gerhard Gleich and Johannes Feest.
