Christ for the Nations Institute ( CFNI ) is an international, interdenominational 3 year Christian Bible institute in Dallas, TX. The Bible based curriculum is taught from a Charismatic/Pentecostal heritage. There are five ministry schools specializing in pastoral and leadership, children and families, missions, worship and technical arts, and youth. CFNI also holds Youth For the Nations (YFN, see below), an intense youth camp held for several weeks during the summer.
There is also a Spanish Institute for students wishing to work in the Latino/Hispanic world. All the schools specialize in teaching students how to provide resources for the completion of church buildings, caring for orphans, supporting the nation of Israel, humanitarian relief efforts, establishing and strengthening international Bible schools, and the distribution of Christian literature.

The late American Evangelist Gordon Lindsay and his wife, Freda Lindsay, founded Christ For The Nations Institute in 1970. After Gordon's passing in 1973, Mrs. Lindsay and her family continued the ministry of the institution. More than 28,000 students have been trained at CFNI.[1]
Christ For the Nations has also reached 120 nations and planted more than 11,000 churches all over the world.
[edit] Accreditation and affiliation
Christ For The Nations Institute is not accredited, but it has "applicant status" with the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Applicant status is a pre-membership status granted to those colleges that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving candidate status within four years. ABHE is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
CFNI also holds accreditation with the International Christian Accrediting Association. ICAA is a private Christian accreditation organization, under the auspices of Oral Roberts University. ICAA is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
CFNI is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, and is approved by the Department of Justice to enroll international students. In addition, CFNI has approval from the Department of Veterans Affairs for veteran training. It is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
[edit] Youth for the Nations
Christ for the Nations Institute hosts the annual youth camp Youth For The Nations (YFN) for several weeks during the summer, considered by many to be one of the best youth camps in the nation. Teenagers stay in the campus for a week playing nation games, attending workshops, and experiencing nightly services.
"YFN exists to impact and equip this generation with the living word of God, propelling them into a lifestyle of worship with a heart for the nations."
Established in 1989, YFN is one of the most popular youth camps in the nation. Starting with only a few teenagers, YFN grew and news about the camp spread. Today, thousands of excited teenagers come to CFNI during the summer from all over the world.
Each year YFN has different themes and different "nations" teenagers can be in:

- 2004: "Matrix" -- Exposing the Matrix
- 2005: "The Deep"
- 2006: "Unleashed" -- Unleash The Hero Within
- 2007: "Uproar" -- Silence No more
For the first time in 2007, YFN is sending out a group of people around the world to bring the message to them. Each year YFNI (YFN International) will be held in a different country. The first YFNI is to be held in the Philippines.
