Christ College, located in Rajkot, India, is the first English medium College in Arts and Science in the Saurashtra region and is also the first to offer in such a short period of time a wide spectrum of programs in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology, Instrumentation, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry in addition to many typical programs in BCom, BBA, BCA and BA. Recently, it has also started AICTE approved Diploma courses in Engineering.
The uniqueness of the institution is reflected in the performance and the quality of the students. "Most of those, who were visiting the place for the first time, were surprised and impressed with the confident speech and youthful versatility of the students…. Another important feature is the variety of Club memberships offered to students…The Christ College has been successfully inviting applications seven times more than the number of seats … within three years, it has already become a name to reckon with.
