Chrissie Williams is a character in the popular BBC television series Holby City; originally a Ward Sister, she was promoted to the post of Clinical Matron in 2006.

Chrissie is currently the longest-serving of the main characters in Holby City, having been in the show since the final episode of the third series in 2001. Chrissie has had a lot of memorable storylines in her six years at Holby. She has enjoyed an endless string of affairs, her conquests include the late Mr. Alistair Taylor, Owen Davies, Ed Keating, Mubbs Hussein, her boss Michael Beauchamp and most recently her colleague Sam Strachan.

Chrissie is the daughter of Consultant Nurse Mark Williams and Staff Nurse Tricia Williams – or so it was thought. At the moment, Chrissie does not know that she is in fact the product of a rape – her now deceased paternal grandfather Frank having forced himself on Tricia at hers and Mark's engagement party. This means that Frank is in fact Chrissie's biological father and her father Mark is actually her half-brother. Chrissie's mother Tricia tragically died in November 2006 from serious injuries sustained in a car crash.

Chrissie eventually discovered that Mark was not her natural father, and Mark and Tricia managed to hide from her the truth about the awful circumstances surrounding her birth. Following Tricia's death, only Mark now knows the full story. However, as secrets have a habit of coming out in the end, it is only a matter of time before Chrissie learns this appalling truth; how she will react when she finds out remains to be seen...

Chrissie is played by Tina Hobley.
