Chris Traynor

Chris Traynor (b. June 22, 1973, in Long Island, New York, U.S.A.) is a guitarist in the band Helmet. He joined Helmet in 1997 as a live guitarist for the Aftertaste tour. When founder Page Hamilton reformed Helmet in 2004, Traynor was the only other person from the former lineup who was involved. Prior to Helmet, Traynor was the guitarist for Orange 9mm. Traynor had previously played guitar on Bush's last tour. He is also the guitarist for Institute.
