Chris Taylor was a drummer in the Canadian band the Payola$ during the 1980's. In 1980 Taylor started work at Vancouver's Little Mountain Sound Studios as an assistant engineer and it is here where he first met Payolas' guitarist Bob Rock. He joined the Payolas for the release of their second album 'No Stranger To Danger' where his signature drum style was heard on their hit single 'Eyes of a Stranger'. He played on all releases up until the group ended in the early 90s. He and Bob Rock formed the band Rockhead releasing one album in 1992. Taylor moved from the music industry to the multimedia industry in 1995 when joining video game maker Electronic Arts. He was audio director on EA Sports games for 11 years until leaving in 2006 to start a private investment company.
