Chris Szarka

Chris Szarka (born February 12, 1975 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian Football League fullback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He is 6'3 and weights 235 pounds. He has spent his entire professional football career with the Roughriders. He is one of the most popular players in the history of the franchise. He was selected by the Roughriders in the second round of the 1997 CFL draft, 13th overall.

At Terry Fox High School in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Szarka starred in football.

Chris Szarka attended Eastern Illinois University. He played two seasons for the Panthers. As a senior, he posted 26 carries for 101 yards (3.88 yards per carry avg.), and 35 receptions for 375 yards (10.71 yards per. rec.). His 35 receptions led the team for that season.
