Chris Strachwitz

Chris Strachwitz is the founder and president of Arhoolie Records. Strachwitz was born on July 1, 1931, in Silesia, and emigrated to the United States in 1947. He has made a career out of finding and publishing previously unrecorded or obscure blues and folk musicians.
