Chris Small (born 26 September 1973) was a Scottish professional snooker player.
Small has suffered from the painful spinal disease ankylosing spondylitis for the past few years.
His greatest achievement was winning the LG Cup in 2002. He never progressed beyond the last sixteen in the World Championship. Small was ranked 12 for the 2004/05 season, the only time he had entered the top sixteen. However, by this time he had already been forced out of the 2004 World Championship, after an experimental drug to help his back caused blurred vision. Although this was a temporary issue, no lasting solution has been found for his spine, and his season was a disaster, ending with 8 defeats from 8 matches and a tumble down the rankings.
In September 2005, he announced his retirement from the game as a direct result of his illness.
