Chris Samuels (born July 28, 1977) is an American football offensive tackle. He played college football for the University of Alabama, and was drafted third overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2000 NFL Draft. Samuels immediately became the starting left tackle for the Redskins and has since been selected to three Pro Bowls, after the 2001, 2002, and 2005 seasons. During the 2005 off-season, the Redskins signed him to a 7-year contract worth about $47 million and a signing bonus of about $15 million.
