Having spent his childhood as a professional footballer for Arsenal, Chris was only introduced to House Music by "SAMBA LA CASA" Partner Pablo Martinez in 2000! While pursuing a full time career in music you could catch Chris on the Big Screen appearing in the Ali G Movie and on UK TV in Footballers Wife's & Family Affairs.
He started full time in music by managing a number of DJ's in the UK, then moved onto assistant promotions manager at Virgin UK V:C Recordings in West London, before moving to Release the Groove record store in London's West End as Head House Buyer. It was here he secured his monthly Article in "RWD" magazine where he interviews & reviews the worlds best, for over 35,000 readers! Chris now co writes a monthly music page "FLAXSAMBA" in Thailand 's Top Clubbing Guide "HYPE MAGAZINE " including reviews, charts & interviews!
Over the last few years, Chris has DJ'd across the world playing a blend of Soulful Latino House. From City Loud @ Turnmills to Renaissance @ The Cross, from Metro Newspapers Bday @ Pacha, to The Celebrity Soccer Sixes @ Chelsea F.C.! From the Wrigley's Chewing Gum Commercial on MTV to The International Hair Show @ Earls Court ! From the notorious Notting Hill Carnival to The renowned Full Moon Party. From Dubai & USA, Barhain & Vietnam to Australia & Malaysia, China & Cambodia …. Chris has Samba'd the World!
He performed the 1 st Soulful House Set b2b with Terry Hunter at Ministry of Sound in Taipei , Taiwan and was the 1 st DJ to play a house set in Cambodia! Xmas eve 2005, Chris played b2b with Yoruba Records legend Osunlade! Chris holds international residencies at Mint Bar in Koh Samui, Thailand & Dragon-I in Hong Kong!
He has Co-produced tracks that hit, top 10 in USA billboard on Chicago Label Vinyl Soul, Number 41 in the UK Charts & remixed the likes of Donell Jones, Angie Stone, Mary J Blige & Jocelyn Brown
