Chris Messina is an American film and television actor.

Messina has appeared in episodes of the television series Law & Order and Third Watch. He had a recurring role in the fifth and final season of the HBO drama Six Feet Under, playing Claire's (Lauren Ambrose) love interest Ted Fairwell.

His film credits include Rounders, The Siege, and You've Got Mail.
