Christian ("Chris") Marlowe (born September 15, 1951) is an American sportscaster based in Denver, Colorado.

Marlowe is currently the play-by-play announcer for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). All of the telecasts are shown on the Altitude Sports and Entertainment network.

Before joining the Nuggets in 2004, Marlowe spent over a decade at NBC, covering the NBA, beach volleyball, and various Olympic sports. Along with assignments for Fox Sports Net, Marlowe was the announcer for every Association of Volleyball Professionals event in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was also an occasional anchor on the Southern California Sports Report.

Marlowe was also a play-by-play announcer on the only season of XFL football in 2001. He called the games that were shown on UPN.

He began as a two-sport standout at Pacific Palisades High School in Los Angeles, California. Marlowe went on to play basketball and volleyball at San Diego State University (SDSU) and was the starting setter on SDSU's only NCAA Championship team – the 1973 men's volleyball team (see SDSU Aztecs article). In 1976 and 1978, he was voted the Most Valuable Player by USA Volleyball. On the beach, Marlowe won eight tournaments, including the 1977 World Championship and two prestigious Manhattan Beach Opens. Marlowe's athletic career culminated as captain of the gold medal-winning United States Olympic Volleyball team in 1984.

The athletic honors continued with his induction into both the San Diego State Aztec Hall of Fame and the California Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1994.
