Christopher Allen Gardocki (born February 7, 1970) is a Clemson University graduate, and a punter in the NFL. Chris has spent time with the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, and the Cleveland Browns. He currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was a member of their Super Bowl XL championship team.
Through the end of the 2006 NFL regular season, Gardocki holds the NFL record for most consecutive punts with no blocks: 1,177. Gardocki has never had a punt blocked in his NFL career. He is expected to either retire or be cut due to a poor 2006 season or the signing of punter Mike Barr, who has been brought in during training camp to compete with Gardocki the past 3 seasons.
