Christopher Andrew Egan (born June 29, 1984), is an Australian actor best known for playing Nick Smith in the Australian soap opera Home and Away for 3 years. His middle name, Andrew, is the name of his father.[1]

Egan was born on June 29, 1984 in Sydney, Australia. During his career as an actor, Egan has appeared in several commercials and even done some modelling but his ability and ambition for acting came when he performed in the Glen Street production of Les Miserables and West Side Story. Egan has also been trained in singing and dancing and has been part of several Eisteddfods.
Egan moved to Los Angeles in 2003.[2]

- He attended a performing arts school - the same school that his co-star Zac Drayson attended
- On one of his first days on the job he tripped over a lead in the studio and ended up sprawled across the Surf Club floor
