Chris Ebert

Christopher Ebert (born May 19, 1977) is an American writer and Occultist1. Ebert is most well known for his political satire, with a left wing lean that is often critical of US President George W. Bush and also of conventional Western monotheism. Ebert is also known to have self-published supernatural fiction in independent New York magazines and online2. Ebert has been both praised for his originality by some fans (Most notably the short works Prey and Ophelia) and criticized by others for being far too derivative of writers such as H.P. Lovecraft and Neil Gaiman.1
Ebert holds a non-matriculated Ph.D in folklore and comparative religion from the University of Ankara, Turkey.3

His satirical work has been published by the British online magazine thespoof.com2 and his prose work by the online magazine severed.net1. His early works were published under the pseudonyms Christos Ahriman and Xipe Totec.1
Biography
Ebert lives in New York City. He is not known to be married. He discloses very little about his personal life. On the severed.net message board he told a fan in response to a question if he had a god complex that he did not and that he was in fact “a complex god”1. A blurb at severed.net says he was born in the Lehigh Valley area of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
According to a page on myspace.com which dubiously claims to be Ebert’s, he can be linked socially to New York DJ Anztek Industries, musician David Ebert, actress Katrin Hier, alternative culture analyst Robyn Miller, epicurean gourmet Debbie Tusman, and origamist Adam Nebel4
