Chris Eaton was born in Stockport, United Kingdom on March 13, 1989. Chris is an English Footballer who is currently Joint-Manager & Chairman for Reddish Lads FC. Chris was part of the Group of People that created The Lads in 1998, he had just been released from current Mini-Soccer Champions Salford Sharks FC. Chris is the current appearance record holder at Reddish Lads FC with 592 appearances, he is also the record goalscorer with 396 goals. In 2002 having won 5 League Titles with The Lads, Chris' brother Anthony left his post as Lads Manager and Owner, therefore he handed the post over to Chris. However, disaster struck just seven days later. The Lads had been found in breach of rule A11 (Lack of Funds) and Rule H17 (Six or More Players out of Contract), this left the club with just 8 players in contract and with a one-year ban from all competitions. Chris had too sell the clubs stadium and balance the books, which was helped with a charity match with Manchester Maniacs FC. The Lads re-joined the non-league structure in 2004 winning the league with 10 games to spare The Lads also won the Mini-Soccer Shield, beating Salford Sharks 4-3 in the final. Back in League One The Lads raced too the title with a 2-0 win over Manchester Monkeys in July, 2 months before the actual season ended! In 2006 Eaton guided The Lads to a Mini-Series win and the Quarter-Finals of the Stockport Mini-Tournament before he shocked eveyone by leaving in August, to join Debdale FC. He continued to play for The Lads during the next two months while playing for Debdale FC. Meanwhile new Lads manager Joe Turner-Shepherd continued Chris' good work by taking The Lads to the League Title and Mini-Soccer Cup Titles. In December it was announced that Chris would be returning to his familiar position of Joint-Manager at Canalside. Now in his second time as Lads manager he is preparing for the new season which starts in April 2007.
