[edit] Sneaker Pimps

Main article: Sneaker Pimps

After forming Sneaker Pimps in 1995, Chris Corner and Liam Howe recruited Kelli Dayton on vocal duties. After Becoming X, the band felt that demos for second album (on which Corner had provided the guide vocals) better suited his voice. Combined with the fear of being identified with the fad for trip-hop acts (i.e. Portishead), Kelli was asked to leave the group, and Corner became the vocalist. As vocalist for The Sneaker Pimps Corner's emotional vocals are credited as a major contributing factor to the band's success.

[edit] The Mighty Boosh appearances

Chris has appeared in three episodes of The Mighty Boosh, the first appearance being in the "Jungle" episode, on the cover of Vince Noir's Mod Monthly magazine, as 'Über Mod'. His second appearance was in the "Electro" episode, where he can be seen in the crowd. His third appearance was in the "The Call of the Yeti" episode, on the cover of Vince Noir's Cheekbone Magazine.
