Chris Cleave (born 1973) is a British writer.

He was born in London, brought up in Cameroon and Buckinghamshire, and educated at Balliol College, Oxford. He lives in the UK.

His debut novel Incendiary was an international bestseller published in 18 countries and is currently in production as a feature film. It won a 2006 Somerset Maugham Award and was shortlisted for the 2006 Commonwealth Writers' Prize.
