Chris Class made his debut for Kyda Pro Wrestling facing off against his real life friend, Richard X in his debut match. Class later that year would make his debut for IWA Mid-South where he would spend the next year and a half as a wrestler, and a referee. He was also the winner of the KYDA Pro Year End Awards Most Hated of 2000. Was known as "Canada's Own"
